Dr. Kumaran completed her medical school at the American University of Antigua. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine, as well as at the University of Saskatchewan. She has earned her Pediatric Board Certification through the American Board of Pediatrics, as well as through the Royal College of Canada. She is an Assistant Professor through the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Kumaran has a particular interest in the care of medically complex children and adolescents, including those with chronic medical conditions and developmental delays. She also works in the Pediatric Oncology clinic at RGH, caring for children with Pediatric Cancer.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and travelling.
